Searching and Product Menu Features

If you know what you need and want to find it fast, call upon our powerful search engine, prominently located at the top and bottom of each page.

Products can also be found using our product menu system.   On the left navigation bar of each page you will see a heading called Product Categories with categories listed below.  This is our thumbnail menu system.  Select the category you are interested in and it will load in a sub category to help find product groups.

If you can't find the product you need, you can contact a sales agent or a member or our technical staff at sales@tamcotanks.com or at 1-800-809-4217.  They will be more then happy to help you get all the information needed.

Selecting Products for the Shopping Cart

Once you find the item that you were searching for, it’s time to make your purchase. Simply click on the small cart icon and the item will be placed in the "Shopping Cart." You’ll now find yourself at our Shopping Cart screen, where you can choose to process your order or continue adding items to your Shopping Cart.  If you wish to keep shopping, simply use the button at the bottom of the screen marked 'Continue Shopping'.  This will take you back to the product page.  To change the quantity ordered, click in the box under "Qty.". Type the desired quantity and hit "update".  

If you look over to your left navigation bar, you will notice the total number of items plus the order total are displayed.  As you are moving around the site, looking at products, you can end your shopping session at anytime by clicking on the word 'Checkout' at the top of each screen.

Completing Your Order (Checkout)

Once you’ve placed your last product to your Shopping Cart, you are all set to proceed to the checkout.  Click on the text called 'Checkout' on the top of the screen to begin.  Depending on if you are Logged In,  you will go through a fast five-step checkout procedure. You will be guided through a shipping, a payment and an order summary page to verify that your order is correct.   

After finalizing your order,  you will receive a confirmation web page as well our an email of the receipt. 

All customers who have given us their email address will receive an automated shipping confirmation via email when your product ships.  

Website Features

Your online account with Tamco Industries

Having an online account with Tamco Industries will allow you to track your past and present orders. 

Once you have your account established,  you can log in at the top of any of our pages by clicking  on the text 'Log In'.   Enter your username (this is the email address you used to establish your online account) and the valid password you selected.   After submitting your Log In information,  you will be directed to main page that will welcome you by name. 

To log out of the site,  click on the text called 'Log Out' at the top of any page within our site. 

Requesting a Quote

We understand the desire to have a printed copy of a potential order from now and then.  We built our system to make it easy to accomplish this task.   A quote and an order are basically the same thing short of your method of payment.  Create an order by placing your items into the shopping cart and proceed to the Checkout.  Along the way, you will be asked for a purchasing method.  Select 'Request a Quote' as your purchasing method and we will take care of the rest.   

Your quote will be emailed to you for your records as well as be placed into your order history.  The order history is accessible when you log in to your online account.  A follow-up email will explain the process of logging onto the site. 

Order Tracking and Status

After you place your first order and establish an online account then the links on the bottom under Your Account will allow you to access all past orders or items you have placed on our website.  Each order detail will contain an order status field as well as the ability to track your boxes if they were sent with certain shippers.

Your account Information

You can access your online profile from the options under the heading Your Account on the bottom of each screen. 

View Your Order History/Status:  Selecting this option allows you to review current or past orders you have placed through our system.   It is also where you will get tracking information and status of your order.

View Past Items:  Selecting this option allows you to review past items you have placed through our system.   Select the time frame to search for and hit the Go button.

View Account Profile:  Selecting this option allows you to change your username, password as well as other general information pertaining to your account.

Contact Information

This option will let you email certain departments at Tamco Industries.  If your email application is MAPI compliant then a email window will open up automatically.

Our Guarantee

We understand that sometimes items just don't work out and your satisfaction is our main priority.  If a product doesn't fit your needs, just send it back within 30 days for a refund.  All we ask in return is that the item is in new condition.   If you have questions,  just call our customer support staff at 1-800-769-1157.

Shipping and Handling Information

Shipping and Handling is based on your shipping location and the dollar amount of your order.   Shipments go via UPS, Airborne or FedEx depending on your choice in the Checkout lane.  Once you get to the Shipping Options, you have two types of shipping,  collect and prepaid.  You can choose a carrier that we display on the screen or have your shipment sent collect.   If you choose collect,  you will be fully responsible for your shipment charges with the carrier.

If your order contains an item that needs to go Motor Freight or there is a problem with shipping charges, we will contact you via phone or email within approximately twenty-four hours.    

What we mean by Same Day Shipping

Tamco Industries is committed to ship your product the very same day that you place your order. We are able to accomplish this 95% of the time if you place an order before 5:30 p.m. EST.   Our shipping department is ready to rush your product out the door.  We are your solution for getting products fast! 

This commitment pertains to non-drop ship items during our normal work weeks.

Ordering Security

How do I know my personal information is secure?

You can buy all of our products online in a secure environment.   We use what's called
SSL encryption to send and receive sensitive information like your credit card number and name/address.  You can tell you have a secure connection by viewing a special icon.  That special icon is a either a yellow or blue padlock that is at the bottom line of your web browser. 

Our SSL host is the industry standard VeriSign.
